Dates: July 4-10, 2011Location: The U.S. Women's Open will be contested on The Broadmoor East Course designed by Donald Ross and Robert Trent Jones, Sr. The championship will be the seventh USGA championship staged at The Broadmoor. The 1995 U.S. Women's Open at The Broadmoor was won by Annika Sorenstam.
Attendance: More than 125,000 spectators are expected to attend the U.S. Women's Open throughout the week.
Economic Impact: The U.S. Women's Open projects an economic impact of more than $25 million to the Colorado Springs community.
Field: 156 professionals and amateurs.
Format: 72 hole stroke play; field will be cut to low 60 and ties plus anyone within 10 strokes of the leader following the completion of the second round.
Tickets: A variety of ticket options are on sale including the upgraded Trophy Club Package and popular 4-Pack. Kids 17 and under are admitted free with a ticketed adult.
Volunteers: More than 3,000 volunteers will be recruited on to work on 30 different committees. Volunteer registration is available now.
