(AP) -- CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - A West Virginia high school football player is facing extradition to North Carolina on a rape charge.
Kanawha County Magistrate Julie Yeager said 18-year-old Adam W. Hudson of Belle, was still wearing his Riverside High School football jersey when sheriff's deputies arrested him Thursday.
Authorities in Brunswick County, N.C., say Hudson allegedly had sex with a minor while on vacation in the state in July. He faces charges there of first-degree rape of a child.
Hudson is being held in the South Central Regional Jail. Magistrate court officials said Friday he does not yet have a lawyer.
