COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo’s (CMZ) chapter of the American Association of Zookeepers (AAZK) will host its 10th annual "Art on the Hoof" on Sunday, August 15 at 6:30 p.m. at the Lodge at Moose Lake.
The evening begins with an hour of socializing and perusing artwork while enjoying hors d’oeuvres, cocktails and music.
Then the emcee for the evening begins drawing tickets, and guests choose a piece of animal art in the order that their ticket is drawn.
Every ticket holder is guaranteed a work of art from the unique art sale.
Live and silent auction items will also be offered throughout the evening.
Tickets: $65 per couple.
All proceeds benefit the zoo’s animals and their keepers.

The Cheyenne Mountain zoo is also accepting donations of animal- inspired art with a retail value of $50-100.
