COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO -- It was a busy afternoon and evening Tuesday for the Colorado Springs City Council.
A medical marijuana law was passed by Colorado voters in the year 2000. Some people want stricter rules on where the dispensaries are located.
One of the issues that was being considered was a 1,000-foot buffer zone between dispensaries and schools parks and neighborhoods.
But city council voted down any changes to the ordinance 7-2.
Meaning there will be no change to the current law.
