FAIRPLAY, Colo. (AP) — A couple accused of starving hundreds of sled dogs at their Park County kennel are due in court Monday. Samuel and Diane Walker were arrested Christmas Day, more than a week after about 100 starving mixed-breed sled dogs were seized after an anonymous tip. Six of the dogs were already dead, and another died after the raid. The Walkers are free on bond. They face felony animal cruelty charges. The surviving dogs are being nursed at several area animal shelters. (Copyright 2010 The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.)
