ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — The Powerball jackpot is expected to grow to an estimated $25 million for Saturday since no one matched all six of the numbers in the midweek drawing.
Wednesday's winning numbers were 5-14-38-39-and-52. The Powerball was 6 and the Power Play number was 3.
Players matching all five numbers and the Powerball would have won or shared the $20 million jackpot.
A Power Play ticket sold in Tennessee matched the first five numbers only to win $1 million.
Colorado's top prize was $10,000 for a ticket that matched the Powerball, plus four of the other numbers.
Powerball was created in 1992 and launched in Colorado in 2001.
It's now played in 31 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
