COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs School District 11 officials have closed Charles M. Russell Middle School of the Performing Arts and Sciences this morning due to broken pikes, flooded classrooms and no heat in the building.
Because school was on a 2-hour delay, no students have yet arrived at the building.
Spokesperson Elaine Naleski said Wednesday that officials hope to have school open on Thursday after repairs are made.
