DENVER (AP) — The Christmas tree in the Colorado governor's mansion is taking on a Victoriam theme this year.

The tree is decorated to honor the mansion's centennial with decorations to evoke 1909.

The tree will include Victorian tree ornaments created by students from Academia Ana Maria Sandoval and antique toys and dollhouse displays from the Denver Museum of Miniatures. Around the tree is a model steam engine from the Denver Garden Railway.

Colorado first lady Jeannie Ritter was showing the tree off to reporters Thursday morning at the mansion.
