COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Lemoral Anderson has a rap sheet with a baker's dozen list of crimes. Tuesday night, Colorado Springs police caught up with him after he had been on the run for the past year.

Anderson was wanted for six felony warrants, one misdemeanor warrant, two felony pick-ups, three misdemeanor pick-ups and one city bench warrant.

He was caught and arrested at the Newport Square Apartments, 3780 Rebecca Ln.

Anderson was first seen driving a vehicle when police attempted to make a traffic stop. Anderson fled from the officers and abandoned the vehicle, fleeing on foot in the area of Rebecca Lane and Van Teylingen Drive where he entered into an apartment with which he was associated.

Containment was set up by police and Anderson ordered to come out. He did not comply with orders and a search warrant was obtained.

Approximately two hours later, Anderson surrendered and was taken into custody.

One other person in the apartment was cited for failing to leave the premises after a lawful order was given.

No one was injured during the incident.
