Corporations are no more a person than "the gov't". People who say "corporations are greedy and just out to line their pockets" are morons. Of course they are. Thats why they exist. To make money for their stock holders, you know the thousands and thousands of stock holders, like you and me. If you have a retirement acct, then you are a stock holder of some corporation or corporations. Come on people, we can't be THAT stupid. If companies weren't supposed to "make money" than why would people risk everything and bust their butt for years, huh? To give it the gov't so they can give it away to a bunch of lazy people? Grow up. If you want failed socialism, move to europe. This is America, home of the greatest nation ever known to human kind. We are the worlds benevolent givers, have deleloped the majority of the worlds medical miracles, have provided a safe haven for millions and millions of LEGAL immigrants, and provided the highest overall standard of living and life of opertunities that mankind has ever seen. That didn't happen because of socialism, gov't freebees or lazy people sitting back and waiting for someone else to provide for them. It was created by hard work, risk and American inginuity. Now we have all these lazy liberal you know whats, banging there drum telling us that we need to tax more those that have busted their butt, taken care of their own, and PROVIDE jobs for everyone else, so that the gov't can give it away to a BUNCH OF LAZY, won't get off their ass, liberal people! I am so sick of people that think just because you get up everyday, go out and work hard, manage your life properly, and end up making some money, THAT THEY ARE ENTITLED TO SOME OF IT!!!! This is whats wrong with this country, now. Liberals have dumbed us down, are brain washing college kids, have lowered the moral standards, given more rights to criminals than victims, wasted TRILLIONS AND TRILLIONS of dollars on social entitlement programs that don't work and have so much gov't corruption, have lied and cheated the American people out of everything good, right and moral, and are continuing to do it today at an alarming rate! Wake up folks. We need to stop this madness or in a short time we won't have ANYTHING decent left in America. It will be a country were corrupt leaders, criminal organizations(like acorn, aclu, democrat party) and entitlement programs will rule. All the poor folks on unemployment, and those who have exhausted their unemployment; I'd be willing to wager they don't buy it. I know I don't.
If this were truly the facts...then why hasn't the unemployment rate improved more than just 2 tenths of a percent, at the height of tourism? Wait till the seasonal job stats start coming to light. Wonder how the nobama administration will decorate that to make it look prettier?

citizen u yes people were dieing before this but now the gov. wants to do the killing remember they are good at destroying jobs and lives. in the last 10 months no jobs have gone overseas and 17 million people out of work. and the dems have sent over 150 billion over seas. Now G.M. is sending another 37 billion of there stimulus money over seas. don't make know sence dems goal is controlling your life what you eat where you live your death care.and when you can't serve them is time for you to go!!!!!!!!!!!!

I believe that it is impossible to say how many jobs are created or saved. The "Saved" part is just to boost numbers.
It made me sick to see the signs along the highways this summer saying "Recovery money" at work. These signs were posted on the same roads that get repaved every year regardless of stimulus monies.
I heard a couple people who were turned away from military hospitals when they needed knee or hip replacements because of age. This was long before President Obama took office.
I believe too many people are listening to a rediculous rumor about death panels. This is a scare tactic to discredit President Obama no matter what he does. And if people truly believe the health care reform is about this, they need to be examined mentally.
Our country need health care reform and our country needs to get all those jobs that went to foreign countries back here. Corporations moved the jobs over seas to get cheap slave labor, not pay taxes and to line their pockets with cash. Corporations were deemed "persons" way back in 1931. And corporations are telling our government how to rule this nation. It no longer is a nation of "we the People", it is a nation full of corporations telling the people how live.
Weren't people dying because of the lack of health care before all of this health care reform started? I laugh because there are people that will grab onto a slogan and run with it. "Death panels" give me a break.

I would have to say that I am not in the least suprised by this. The government would have been better off giving every citizen the cash.
