COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — A prayer meeting that former megachurch pastor Ted Haggard is hosting at his home in Colorado Springs sounds a lot like the basement gatherings he held when he was starting New Life Church. But Haggard has said he has no plans for the meeting Thursday night to turn into another New Life Church, which grew from about two dozen people at his home in 1985 to thousands of members today. Haggard was forced out from New Life in 2006 after a Denver man said the pastor paid him for sex. Haggard says the prayer meeting Thursday has drawn interest from national media outlets. He plans to speak to reporters before the meeting but has said media won't be allowed inside his home. (Copyright 2009 The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.)
