DEL NORTE, Colo. (AP) -- It will be another 30 days before prosecutors can file charges against a 14-year-old Del Norte boy in the deaths of his mother and stepfather.

Rio Grande County District Judge Martin Gonzales on Monday granted the delay in the proceedings so defense attorneys can review the case.

Authorities say a relative found the bodies of 38-year-year-old Tracy Aaron Rinebarger and 34-year-old Joanna Marlee Rinebarger in their home Oct. 27. Authorities have not said how they died.

The 14-year-old, whose name hasn't been released, was arrested a short time later about an hour's drive north of the family home.

Authorities say he wasn't in the home when the bodies were found. He's being held at a youth detention facility.

A gag order has been issued in the case.
