COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — The Colorado attorney general's office is suing a Colorado Springs mortgage company, its top loan originator and a managing general partner.

In a civil lawsuit filed this month in Fremont County District Court, prosecutors accuse April Bigler of Pueblo West of 15 violations of consumer protection laws. She is accused of misrepresenting the terms of loans she made, many of which ended up in foreclosure.

Managing general partner James W. Dale III of Pueblo West is accused of failing to enforce the company's policies. He is accused of nine violations of consumer protection laws. The company is accused of four.

The lawsuit seeks fines and restitution.

A call to the company for comment wasn't returned Tuesday.
