Driver of light-colored van left the scene

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- At 6 a.m. Monday, Colorado Springs Police Department responded to the 1700 block of east Boulder Street on report of hit-and-run accident that involved a bicyclist.
The 56-year-old rider told police he was riding his bicycle on the right hand side of the roadway. A van made a left turn from northbound Union Boulevard onto westbound Boulder Street and veered into the right lane. The passenger side mirror of the van struck the cyclist causing non-life threatening injuries.
The van left the scene, according to the police report. It has been described as light-colored, possibly tan, with a missing passenger side mirror.
