COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- After an argument with her boyfriend, a 25-year-old woman walking alone in the Gleneagle area about 11 p.m. Saturday was abducted by a male in a silver SUV who stopped and offered her a ride.

She refused his offer, but the man allegedly pulled her into the vehicle and drove her to a vacant home in the 5400 block of Lions Gate Lane in the Rockrimmon area

She pretended to be ill, was able to escape and ran to a nearby home for assistance in calling police.

Officers staked out the identified house, and obtained a search warrant for it. At about 6:30 a.m., a vehicle that matched the description given by the woman left the residence.

Police arrested the driver, Mazhar U. Khan, 46, who was charged with second-degree kidnapping.
