COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) -- The National Weather Service has issued tornado warnings for southern El Paso County and parts of  Kit Carson County.

There were no immediate reports of tornado sightings or any damage or injuries.

Forecasters say radar detected a rapidly rotating storm over El Paso County Wednesday afternoon that could produce a tornado.

They say the towns of Security and Fountain could be affected, as well as far-southeastern Colorado Springs.

The Weather Service says radar detected another severe thunderstorm near Burlington in Kit Carson County that could produce a tornado.

Forecasters say the town of Bethune could also be affected by that storm.
