PUEBLO, COLO. -- On Tuesday, July 6, 2009 about 10:45 p.m., officers from the Pueblo Police Eepartment were dispatched to 1550 Pike on report of a shooting.
When officers arrived they found a 13 year-old boy who had been shot in the face. The boy died while in route to the hospital.
Detectives continue to interview possible witnesses and are looking for another 13 year-old boy who had been at the house when the shooting happened.
According to one witness a dark-colored Camaro drove by the front of the residence and fired at least one shot, striking the victim in the face.
The victim along with at least three other boys were on the porch when the alleged shooting happened, according to police.
