FOX21 Morning News anchor Mike Brookbank talks with author Jim Steinberg on the Thursday, Sept. 19, show. Steinberg has published "Colorado Scenic Byways," a coffee table book with breathtaking photos of Colorado and views along its highway system.

According to Steinberg, Colorado has the largest scenic byway system in the country, with 25 designated by the state.

From 7,000 images put to film during the past year, two volumes have a total of 400 color photographs, says Steinberg. The second volume includes maps and is a travel guide with tips on where to go and what to do along the way.

Steinberg and contributing writer Susan Thwiet will sign books on Thursday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 at the Barnes and Noble bookstore at the Citadel Mall.
