LONGMONT, Colo. (AP) -- A body found in an apartment following a more than five hour standoff has been identified as the man suspected of randomly firing gunshots from the patio of his apartment.

Boulder County Coroner Thomas Faure on Thursday said 36-year-old Douglas Fedorock died from a self-inflicted single gunshot wound to the head. Police were unable to contact Fedorock after he retreated into his apartment Wednesday after witnesses said he fired four shots, two which struck a pickup truck.

No injuries were reported from Fedorock's random gunshots.
