COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- THEATREWORKS at UCCS takes center stage for the world premiere of "Invisible Voices: New Perspectives on Disability" -- a production that showcases six ordinary Colorado residents who live with extraordinary daily challenges.
Kevin Pettit, one of the performers in the play, stopped by the FOX21 Morning News studios to talk about the show. He said the point of "Invisible Voices" is to let the "normal" people of society in on the secret that people who have physical or mental challenges aren't much different than everyone else.
"Invisible Voices" is produced by famed director Ping Chong and Company, and is a partnership between Meeting the Challenge and THEATREWORKS.
There are only nine performances at Dusty Loo Bon Vivant Theater in University Hall at UCCS. For ticket and performance time information, click here.
