COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Having the right accessory can "make or break" an outfit. But there is one organization that helps distribute fashion accessories which can either make or break an entire community.

It's called KEZA, and the group has partnered with working women in East Africa in helping to develop their businesses by bringing high-end, handmade jewelry to America.

"A big part of our objective is to give that region of Africa a new image," said Jared Miller, KEZA president.

Southern Colorado residents have a chance to see some of that craftwork in person this Friday, Oct .2, at the KEZA Fashion Show.

It starts at 7 p.m. in the Main Lobby of The Plaza of the Rockies Building, 121 South Tejon St., in Colorado Springs. There will be pieces of jewelry on sale at the event.
