The town of Cripple Creek is counting its losses, as one of its historic hotels and casinos has closed its doors. The Imperial officially shut down last Monday after battling bankruptcy for years.

In a settlement with the family, Alcor agreed to give the family the $50,000 annuity Robbins set aside for her preservation. Alcor will pay for the handling of Robbins' remains. Her head will be frozen, and the rest of her body will be cremated and returned to the family.
