DENVER (AP) -- It's election day for many Colorado municipalities, and this year's ballots include questions on legalizing marijuana and taking away cars from people driving without licenses.
In Breckenridge, voters will decide whether to decriminalize possession of less than 1 ounce of marijuana for people over 21. The measure is largely symbolic, because pot possession would remain illegal under state law.
Denver voters are considering whether to require police to impound vehicles of unlicensed drivers. It's a measure aimed at illegal immigrants, but city officials oppose the idea. They say it would tie up too much police time.
Elsewhere, Coloradans will elect 65 mayors and city council officials and consider at least 22 local tax proposals.
