FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) -- A high school counselor in Fort Collins has been charged with sexually assaulting children, some of whom he met while working as a church counselor in Longmont between 1991 and 2004.

Brad Boda is on unpaid leave from Rocky Mountain High School. He was charged Monday in Boulder County with 11 felony counts including sexual assault on a child, sexual exploitation of children and criminal attempt to commit sexual exploitation of children.

His attorney had asked a judge to lift an order barring Boda from interacting with his nieces and nephews, but the judge refused.

Boda is free on $50,000 bond and is due back in court in January. He didn't return a phone message seeking comment.
