* The Town of Monument will hold its first "Community Night Out" from 5 to 7:30 p.m. It's a town forum by the Monument Board of Trustees, where the public can ask questions, make comments and participate in local decision making. * If you are in the mood for some Halloween fright, one of Colorado Springs' seasonal "haunted" attractions is underway at the Western Museum of Mining and Industry. It's called "Haunted Mines" designed to thrill, scare and entertain you at the same time. The spooky spectacle is on the 26-acre, centuries-old grounds of the mining museum. The attraction takes you outdoors, indoors and underground. "Haunted Mines" takes place every weekend through Oct. 31. It is located at 225 Northgate Blvd. in Colorado Springs.
