PUEBLO, COLO. -- Good news for those of you looking -- to look better.

Breakthrough medical technology called the "Body-Jet" is allowing liposuction patients an easier and much less painful procedure to contour their bodies.

Adonis Aesthetics in Pueblo is the only one of its kind in Colorado offering this new water-based option that's taking off around the country.

"Body-Jet" uses a thin, fan-shaped water jet that is channeled into the fat tissue. Blood vessels and nerves are not damaged. It essentially flushes the fat instead of destroying it.

As a result, the fat easily loses its structure and is released. The fluid used in the procedure carries an analgesic for pain and a vasoconstrictor to minimize bleeding. This results in very effective fat removal without the trauma associated with traditional liposuction.

The results are excellent, allowing assessment of contour and fat removal during surgery much easier, according to physicians.

The typical distortion associated with tumescent fluid, such as liposuction procedures, is eliminated. This allows the surgeon and patient to reach the desired results much better.
