Tim Elbertson joined the FOX21 News Team in July 2007 as the Morning Show Meteorologist. From violent hurricanes and blizzards to twisters and flash floods, Tim has experienced Mother Nature's fury first-hand while working at several TV stations across the country.

Tim comes to FOX21 Morning News from KAAL in Austin, Minnesota, where he was the Chief Meteorologist. He has also forecast the weather at two stations in Texas - KBTV in Beaumont and KFDX in Wichita Falls - and was Weather Producer at KWCH in Wichita, Kansas.

Tim is a member of the National Weather Association and the American Meteorological Society and has been awarded both the AMS Seal of Approval and the NWA Seal of Approval. He is also a two-time Emmy Award winner for Best Morning Newscast.

Tim majored in geography at Syracuse University, and received his Certificate in Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University. In his spare time, he enjoys watching college sports, spending time with family and friends, and road trips.
