One dead after fire in Fountain
Yesterday at 1:40 PM
An early-morning fire in Fountain left one woman dead and destroyed a home on Walbrach way. All three Fountain fire stations responded to an alarm call at 5:33 Monday morning. By that time, some neighbors were alerting the rest of the street. "I had a neighbor pounding on my door telling me my next-door neighbor's house is on fire," said Leah Quatkemeyer. "We came out and the wind ws coming this way, toward our house. By that time there was already trucks on scene."
